Nice! I like it! I love that color combo too. Thanks. It is Ginger on top of cashmere. You bought it? Around here, people pay to have stuff like that removed from property. Maybe that is why she took my lowball offer.

You bought it? Around here, people pay to have stuff like that removed from property. So you live in Stupidville? In another post about the real clean low mile blue truck you were comparing it to a green rusty piece of crap that they wanted 4000.00 for which you seemed to think was a good deal. https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/2845620/77-d100-shortbox.html#Post2845620

I love all the two tones brown-ish, orange colors with those moldings they had from '77 through '80. Cool truck

Thanks, guys. Too bad the truck is 3 hours away and will stay there until spring. I am more enthused about working on it than I am my R/T. There is a key chain in the glove compartment for a trailer hauling business in Kansas which may explain why the truck is optioned the way it is. Other than that, I have no history of the truck except that the previous owner bought it in 1998 with tags that expired in 1999. I wonder if Missouri does not require that farm trucks be licensed every year. No idea when the truck was parked or why. So I guess it has been parked somewhere between 3 and 21 years. 😄 There is an Adventurer emblem on the dash, but it definitely is not an SE. Maybe a Sport? It does have the Sport’s vinyl seat cover, which was an option on the base Adventurer. Faux wood applique on the steering wheel and the door panels sort of look like the Sport’s in the sales brochure that I purchased. Would the option package be on the fender tag? Interesting list of options and those options that were left off. Some of them are the LoadFlite tranny, D60, two-tone paint, quad headlamps, A/C, oil pressure gauge, Easy Rider rifle rack and that’s about it. No carpet (rubber floor mat), headliner, jump seats, aux-fuel tank. It still has the jack mounted to the rad core support. Cool. Redraptor, I will keep you in mind. And “No”, I am not naming the truck Ginger.

Looks like the good old Tekonsha hydraulic controller. Tekonsha ControllerThat resistor network on the side is for the brakes also but it's been so many years since I had one I just can't remember what if does.

Wow, again this is all from memory and my memory sucks. IIRC there is a thumbwheel on either the top or bottom of the controller that adjusts the braking power. The lever in front is for manual application of the brakes. My advice? Ditch it all and go to one of the current inertia based controllers. Judging from the damage to the paint on the controller I'm guessing it's leaking and probably is on its last legs if if works at all. Again, IIRC, when you apply the brakes the lever should move to the right. If not, it is shot. There are some things whose time has come and gone, this is one of them.

Comes with the highly desirable Rochester Quadrajet carb. Yeah, right. If you don't want it I'll take it! IMHO the q-jet throttle plate on that carb is GOLD and the correct linkage for the intake & correct q-jet makes an even bigger nugget of gold. only thing missing is the q-jet duel snorkel air cleaner that came on trucks. take the lower plate from that smog q-jet and replace it on a early chebby q-jet with the #704xxxxx and it is awesome on SB mopars. I have a mercruzer q-jet that I did that with and it only has a vac port for choke pull off and one ported vac for dist canister. no PCV vac port and it is jetted a little richer than a car/truck q-jet stock calibration. the 318 loves it.
