Has anyone ordered any stuff from AMD lately? I ordered a set of 71 Big Block valve covers 4 weeks ago and still have nothing, just a note from Summit saying they are on backorder. I am sure it it Covid/China related supply issues. Not sure how long it will take to get them?

I've had trouble getting a response from them for months now, related to a defective part. Unsure if it's the vendor or AMD that is at fault, probably both. I called AMD direct and they were pretty rude about how I needed to work with the vendor even though they (AMD) had already sent me two identically defective bumpers.

Yes, not really sure what others have encountered with AMD for customer service. My motor assembly is kind of on hold until I get some replacement covers.

You might try and see if someone else has a pair on their shelf.

They are re-tooling all of the valve covers, you won't see any for awhile.

Again!....this is what the 3rd time? how hard is it to procure a set of originals/NOS to tool off of?, unless the existing tooling is degraded from the current runs?

I got the last set that Mega Parts had ( thanks Jamie)! It sounds like it may be a while before anymore are available.
