On a related note, The city of Davie was the site of the first Nascar race at the abandoned airport for the WW2 Navy Forman Field. In the early 60's they ran night drag races with a ww2 searchlight directly behind each competing car, it was neat, as it lit the driver rather well during his run to be seen banging thru the gears. Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
