Getting ready to swap a big block in my ‘Cuda w 4-speed. I want tti but in 2” it shows won’t work with a low deck, which I may end up running. I have a 550-575hp 440 but may be building a 470 low deck.
What headers are you guys using? I want either 1 7/8 or 2”. FWIW I may be running close to 700hp eventually.

I have a 72 Challenger with a 400 stroked to 505 and have Trickflow heads.
I run a 727 automatic and I went with the TTI 400SR-218 header.
TTI has the info on their website that tells you what you have to do to make them fit.
I had to go with a different starter so I grabbed a Powermaster 9523.
I also had to modify the linkage for my slap stick shifter to clear the collector.
None of this was hard and the headers look great. I added electric cut outs while I was there.

Thank you! I guess what I’m asking is there a quality header that will work for both a low deck and a tall deck both.

Got pics? Would love to see how it all looks in there. I have a 70' Cuda getting an Indy SR headed 440 and just checking on some visual clearances.
