Anyone used one or have one.

Im looking to upgrade the cheap Budge cover a buddy of mine gave me

Im looking at the black satin cover which is there top of line
https://www.carcovers.com/covers/cars/plymouth/satellite/1966/2-door-coupe/black-satin-shield.html

At so far I like the ones here . Ive already looked at California Car Covers as well. But they're twice the price , are they worth the price difference

I don't know if California Covers are worth twice the price, but they are the only ones I've used and are very good quality.

Facts are stubborn things.

One thing we always do is put a couple of CLEAN cotton bed sheets over
the car before we put the cover on, just some insurance against the cover picking up a piece of grit.

Actually I have used them for a cover for the 2013 Ram1500 I had . . . paid the price for the expensive cover . . . in my opinion it was well constructed, worked really well - no water coming through from top side, and nice fleecy bottom against the paint, no scratches. It breathed well . . . I had it on during winter time as I was not driving the truck. Was everything they claimed.

I've been using the light cotton covers I got from CalifCarCover for 30+ years.
That's indoors, but they've never left a mark on the cars.
Seems to me the elastic and/or tight-fitting ones would wear the paint at the edges & corners.
It surprises me how expensive they've become, and there are no pale blue ones anymore that I could find.
