do you have a link or picture for the offenhauser linkage ? No, sorry. I found it on the Hemi Hot Heads site. I believe that linkage merely hooks dual carbs together, doesn't connect to the trans.

thanks for the linkage replies fellows. is the linkage one to one [both carbs opening the same at once] or progressive ? if progressive, will that affect the bouchillion hookup from how they have it designed for a single carb ? in other words, will any brackets or hardware in the kit need to be modified ?

Offenhauser offers both direct and progressive kits. I'm sure some fabrication will be required to make them work with the Bouchillon cable setup.

Got my kit from Bochillon. Looks great, but have nothing positive to say about the instructions. Shows each step for the Holley, then the OEM, then aftermarket Edelbrock (thats me) then the Demon, then goes to step 2 for all 4 carbs, each then step 3, 4, , etc, etc, etc,. Can someone put together for me each simple step for my set up? The Holley, OEM, Demon, not applicable for me, and confuses me. Jack

Anyone else with "simple" solutions (I ain't no mechanic), will be greatly appreciated. You have all the info you need, the problem is the Lokar..........it's poorly designed AKA junk. I second that opinion. Lost a very important race due to poor quality of my Lokar. Will never use it again, Ragnar in Iceland

I am a little confused. How can a kickdown cable kit be an exact copy of the factory system which does not use a cable?
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

It is a copy of the 90' Dodge Ram/Dakota Magnum engine kickdown setup. Go to the junkyard and get this setup for practically nothing and make a carb mount for it.
The only Carbs I care about are under the hood!

The aluminum throttle bracket everyone sells works good for this setup.

You had the talent to mate an old engine to a newer trans, just do what somewhat mentioned - calculate total travel at the carb then modify the throttle pressure lever to get you what you need at the trans.
No, you give me way too much credit. Hot Heads has adapter to hook small block 727TF to early Hemi's. It was pretty straight forward and I had help from a "real" mechanic.

The aluminum throttle bracket everyone sells works good for this setup. Very neat, my application is Edelbrock, 2-4s? You say everyone, you mean Summitt, Jegs, etc. or specialty vendors? Jack

Another kink in the "hose". With car on lift, wife in the car, I had her floor it (not running), the kickdown lever on the trans came forward a little, not backward at all? Would it have anything to do with fact car was cold and tranny in Park? After thinking about it, I think that could have been the problem..

The gear it's has no bearing on the TP linkage operation. If flooring the throttle moves the trans lever forward, the linkage is hooked up to the wrong side of the throttle lever. Time for some pics.
