My box stock Eddy heads are 16 years old that i have on my 440. figuring it may be time to put fresh valve springs on them. its a 10:1 with a 292 purple shaft. any good recomendations on a good spring ? yes i do run the car occasionally at the strip.

Is it, the motor and tach talking to you ?
Is it not pulling as hard above 4500 RPM as it did to start with?
If not worse now why try to fix something that isn't broken work
I would remove a couple of them, valve springs, especially on the exhaust valves and have them tested twocents scope
I would be tempted to try adding between .060 and .090 valve spring shims under all of them, make sure and check for coil bind first though before running the motor with them shimmed up scope wrench
