the bellhousing is cracked where the clutch fork goes through it, do you braise the crack or weld it?

If you have access to a AC/DC arc welder, there are special rods available, that require no preheat of the subject,....just grind a vee on both sides, if accessabile, and weld,.....Chronatron Welding Supplies,.....If I recall the rod is called Chronaweld universal cast iron rod #333, use the 3/16 electrode rod, as the smaller 1/8 rod dissapates to rapid, then grind and dress as required, if done properly, you can make an unidentifiable repair
