Looking for recommendations for a low-profile flange puller, so I can remove my fluid damper without taking the radiator and Contour fans out yet again.
With the radiator/fans out, the one I've got has worked fine, but the jackscrew is just too long to get it in there otherwise.
Any thoughts?work

measure & if a shorter bolt would fit in there & do the job you could grab one at your hardware store & grind the thread end to a tip

I thought it was a very fine thread (and possibly hardened too)? Anyway I could certainly see if they have anything similar...

I found out that the bolt from my pitman arm puller was the same thread and used it for the same reason. It saved me from pulling the radiator on several cars.

If you don't have one AutoZone and other places rent them for free.

Thanks for the tip! I do have a pitman arm puller and the screw is exactly the same as my flange puller, just a lot shorter up
It might even fit once I remove the crank pulley scope
