...pulled the Barraucda out of it's 3+ year slumber ... Does it still count as a "barn find" if it was in a 4 bay garage where 2 bays were used for hay storage and I'm the one that put the car there?

More progress... Donor engine is out, intake is off to powder coat, Holley Terminator engine harness had one sub-harness that wasn't correct for the car but that got ordered today after the Barracuda was dropped off. Correct dipstick for the new pan as well as Holley exhaust manifolds also ordered. Transmission guy happened to be at the shop and we discussed the 46RE. He's starting on it tomorrow. Last major part to order is a radiator. Leaning towards Cold Case with shroud/fans but I need to do some measuring on the car since the CC website isn't super clear on exactly how/what their rads fit and I can't recall which side the hoses are on the donor engine or their sizes.
RE: the 46RE...last year I found a thread (possibly a different forum) showing where a couple ribs/nubs etc. needed to be trimmed off the trans case for clearance. Can't seem to find those images now. Any guidance appreciated.

Thank you! This appears to be 2 different "webs"? I was thinking it was 1 web and 1 ear.
Side note: I'm getting old...can somebody point me in the right direction to change the font size for Moparts? I've had good success on other forums but not here.

Cheeto, click on the down arrow next to your screen name at the top right of this page......... Click on 'preferences'.......... Then scroll down until you see ' Your Preferred Forum Style (aka Skin/Theme)'....... Scroll down to ' ubbthreads L type' This will make everything a bit bigger (I'm getting old too). If there is a way to change JUST the font, I'm not aware of it. Once you make the change, don't forget to click 'save changes' at the bottom of the preferences page.

That seems to have worked on the Forum but not when I'm typing a response. Is changing the font size every time I respond the only option there (here)?

A little note to others considering this swap. I used Holley engine mounts... -Holley BHS560 manifolds will NOT fit with the factory power steering box. -Dorman exhaust manifold 674-922 (2015 Grand Cherokee 5.7) will NOT fit with the factory power steering box. -Holley BHS584 "will fit" according to Holley tech support but we haven't had a chance to test that yet.
The BHS560 clearly stated that they only fit manual steering. The Tech Support person I talked to at the time agreed that the images I could see and the info he had made it seem as if there was no difference between the 560 and 584. The 560 was on sale so I gambled...I lost. This is entirely on me and I hold no ill will toward Holley for this. Learn from my mistake.
The Grand Cherokee manifold is mentioned on another forum as being an option. Local Autozone (in a town of like 700 people) actually had the manifold on the shelf...crazy. They were very good about taking it back but it was interesting convincing them to "put it on my account for warranty purposes" under a 1970 Barracuda. Hoping to have some pics to show interference point (of the other 2) and fitment of the BHS584 in the near future. Unfortunately, the "low profile" design of these means a significant reduction in tube size at the first 2 ports. I'll have some comparison pics coming also.

are hellcat and 6.1 manifolds interchangeable? TRX manifolds are pretty slim logs and they still make power through them.

Update: Car is out of the shop and running/driving. In fact I put more miles on it in the first 5 days than I have the past 5+ years! Still have some tuning issues. 4 second high idle after startup, very touchy throttle at tip-in, torque converter lockup is overly indecisive at the set speed etc. Overall I am LOVING this thing again.
