Almost every car is on a “race” suspension setup. The drives between tracks isn’t a race. You can go as slow as you need to in the corners.

You see everything from CalTracs, to ladder bars, to four links and all the rest.
My son has completed six Drag Weeks with drag race torsion bars, no sway bar, CalTracs and Calvert mono leaf springs. No issues.
Of course with small tires in front, big tires in back and spool, no road racing between tracks.

I don't think anything associated with Drag Week has not broken!
Several years ago a guy ending up buying a new F-350 DRW pickup on the way just to get there! And this year he torched a head early in the week and proceeded to put a hole in the block and oil pan on the last day. Its not for the weary.

I don't pull a trailer and carry about 300lbs of gear plus a passenger. The car does OK without them but I normally swap on my air shocks for the drive. The car rides super smooth with them and I am not beating up my double adjustable shocks. It adds a few minutes to the race/street prep but its not big deal really.
