My bud claims to have trouble finding the correct tips for 69 Charger. Are they special? Dime a dozen, many vendors carry them, don't waste your time on chromed steel/NOS tips, go directly with Stainless Steel tips, the pair of NOS tips I bought for my Charger looked great for about the first 1-2 yrs after that they started pitting with small rust pocks, SS tips can run from $100-$150 pr

He will not find what he wants, probably. Thanks. That's the problem with searching for unobtanium, it doesn't exist.

Well, my bud is the most picky guy I know. He does not like SS and the ones he just bought from eBay. To talk to him, he could not find ANY. After I sent him the link, he told me all of this. He will not find what he wants, probably. Thanks. I'll trade him a "slightly" used set of NOS ones for a pair of new SS ones.... they still look good, I'm just tired of polishing out the minute rust specks to keep them bright

We hope to have the correct style 68 to 70 Charger chromed exhaust tips back in stock in the next month. These tips will be assembly line correct in that the hanger will be spot welded into the tip as the originals and the earlier over the counter tips. They will not have the hanger bracket welded solid to the body of the tip as the later style over the counter pieces did. These tips will be made in Ohio and feature chrome plating done here in the US.
We have just started a run of the 68 to 70 Plymouth B-Body tips and it will be approximately two months for those to be available. Just finished up a couple dozen of the 71 to 74 B-Body tips for cars without resonators.

All the repro tipa i have seen are too large of a diameter to fit in correctly to factory style tailpipes like ECS makes. NOS tips fit right in. With repro tips, you have to expand the tailipipe to get them to slide in. I hope you can fix this issue on the tips you will be coming out with.

I hope they have the correct spot welded hangers like the factory and not the welded all around hangers like the current repro's have. Its a nice detail item for an original car.
