Got an 02 360 gas 2500 heavy duty with automatic transmission. At 60-70 mph there is a slight roar and vibration that seems to be coming from the rear portion of the drive line. I noticed the rear seal of the transfer case has a leak. I can also move the rear drive shaft up and down, side to side a bit (not rotational) where the slip yoke meets the housing. I am thinking there should not be any movement here, correct? I need to replace the seal and thought I may as well replace the tail housing bushing. Perhaps change the bearing on the tail shaft too. This is a NP241 case. Any suggestions or input from you guys on this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks nd65

Yes replace bushing&seal, also check yoke for wear.I have seen some yokes worn because worn bushings were not replaced quick enough
