I love seeing these ads. I'll take two of each. Seeing the vin numbers; maybe someone here owns any of these cars?

I'm going to call & see if they will take a deposit on the Superbird. Man, when can we go back?

Love seeing those old ads no matter how many times they come up. up

Question is, which one? The Duster is tempting with the floor speed. wink Or the GTX or Superbird with the 440 six pac. grin
Seriously, even figured in 2020 dollars, I'd buy any one of them in a heartbeat. boogie

Would have been even more of a tease if they had listed the colors.

Here is a rather bizarre ad from 1969
Obviously not the same dealer in the original post. This one is located in NY.

those were the bare spark plug terminals that were guaranteed to have a perfect connection to the plug and not come loose.
they were very popular with the flat head ford guys back in the 50's.

I still get a kick out of the classified ads in the back of the old Hot Rod magazines (yes, I still have a bunch from the early 70's). You could have had a pretty incredible car for less than $2k - Hemis, Nomads, etc.
