Have original sun visors in my 68 RR. Need replacing.
Question on removal?

Do they just slide off?
Do they need to be clocked in a certain position when removing or installing?

I tried sliding them but didn't want to use too much force so as not to bend the rods or dislocate anything 52 years old.

Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

They tend to be on the shafts pretty tight so some effort is required to remove them, Otherwise its pretty straight pull and push job , same goes for the tip end

I just swapped the ones out of my Cuda and it took way more muscle than I had anticipated. It didn't help one was twisted inside, but toake reassembly easier I took some 2000 grit to smooth out the rods and applied a real light coat of aerosol lubricant. It worked well.

Yeah, it's kinda scary how much effort it takes sometimes; I cheat by squirting a little silicone lube down in there.
Same with the install if necessary, and in that case just a wee bit.
