been almost 10 years since I pulled mine out.
but as I recall I removed the radio and heater controls so I could reach back and see better at the same time.
I wanted to pull the glove box, but mine was in tact, and I couldn't figure out how to get it out without ripping cardboard.

there are a bunch of brackets hard to see from undernieth as I recall.
The worst was the fresh air duct.

but it is nice that it is smaller than the 66 and up so it came out from under pretty easy, once I got it loose.

Been years since i did one but If I remember correctly, Pulling the glove box and door will help a bunch, disconnect the cables at the box, 5 or so bolts on the firewall side and it will just about be in your lap beer
