Tr jimi OP member T Joined: Feb 2020 Posts: 22 BRIDGEWATER	Hello All, I would like to change out the front servo for any early style on a late 727 Question is can I accomplish this R/R with the trans in the car with the valve body in place also I don't have a special tool to compress the dual springs on the pre 70 servo, .any tricks? motorcycle valve compressor possibly help. dvw master Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 9,837 MI, usa	It can be done in the car. Use a C Clamp vice grip. Personally in my experience there's not a whole lot of difference in performance. The main reason I use them is so it can use 2 release springs. I believe A&A makes a HD release spring for the later serve. To make them solid use a couple of bronze #3 thrust washers as spacers.
