its even easier when you read the instructions or go to the website and read the instructions there or you could watch an add on TV or online . Its great to help people in need of a talent or skill that you may have ,but to see someone take the time to post a question that any 5th grader could figure out is just plain lazy. there is a reason for elementary school and it wasn't recess. I'm going to stick up for Little Detroit a bit. When a post starts out with something like "I've been looking for hours and have found nothing on (fill in the blank)......", that question I'll respond to. The poster has put some skin in the game and, for whatever reason, was unsuccessful. But if a question is posed and after 60 seconds with Mr. Google I have the answer.....???? Now there are some topics that are so broad that Mr. Google will overwhelm you with responses. My favorite subject is paint and body questions, here real world experience to me is more important than label directions you could get from a website. If you are going to be successful in this hobby, you have to be prepared to invest some time and effort. I know all the oldsters on this forum have walked the face of the earth looking for a part or a procedure, it's part of the game. Really it's just the car version of "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime". Not to get in a longer discussion about this, but isn't this exactly what the original poster asked ? He didn't ask for label directions. He asked what we all do.

the problem with you Berry is that you , can't stand the truth , the truth is sometimes harsh , they all want their 15 mins online and feel that they contributed to the hobby . If you want something done right do it your self , the is no harm in failing as a matter of fact it is better to fail and keep trying til you get it right , you then have learned something on your own and accomplished something. Not all things should be handled this way but most can be solved with just a little effort. however in this particular case the man wanted to know how to rinse off evapo rust , like most things manufactured there are msds sheets warning of what to and what not to do.. alsoin this particular case it says rinse with water . It would have taken less effort and time if he would have read instructions and used a "little " common sence. Kind of like a guy saying he is going to buy something then ghosts you

in this particular case it says rinse with water But..... Many of us using this product have obviously just used this to do what it was designed for - removing rust. So any logical person with any chemistry knowledge knows this basic fact - Exposing raw steel to water causes..... you guessed it, RUST. So why rinse with water when it can be rinsed away by more logical products? There is no logic in introducing water to a bare part just cleaned of rust when it was water exposure that caused the problem in the first place.

I rinse with water then spray with WD-40 to dissipate the water.
When ready to paint, I remove the WD with lacquer thinner. This works for me. Other opinions may differ, and that is OK.
