Great to hear you are walking. One of my closest friends lost his life in a 410 sprint car around 5 years ago. The only thing that helps is knowing he died doing something he loved.
His wife had us cut the car into pieces. Every tube on the chassis “sprung” out of shape when cutting it up. Unreal how much can happen in seconds.

You just keep right on making progress bud. Glad to hear you are back on your feet. Might be a long road to recovery but keep the FAITH.

PTL! That's amazing! Were you thrown from the vehicle? Don't see any driver in those pix. You are very lucky. My daughter broke her spine at T12 and is paralyzed from the waist down, never to walk again. So, I know the struggle and pain you went through. Glad to hear you are making such progress!

my brother was first to ask me why cant I see you in the car? I am in there for sure [ black fire suit] . it took 45 minutes to cut me out. no welds broken anywhere... just a real hard hit right on the drivers side .. maybe god had me until it stopped flipping !! def. had me since !

you are rite ! I will tell you from experience , I was having the best run in years! if I would have died , I was - very - happy doing what I loved ! its always the people who love you that are hurt just as bad or maybe more..

Amazing what the human will can do. I pray for a full complete recovery.

Several years ago a friend of mine had a similar crash. It didn't break his neck but the cage had his head pushed over forward that he said when he woke up he could hardly breathe. He had to be cut out and missed several weeks work because of it. The crash ended a 30 something year dirt track racing career.

Glad to hear you are recovering from a bad tumble. It's an inescapable part of racing, regardless how much you prepare for it. But, if it was as safe as a video game, we wouldn't do it.
