Great to hear you are walking. One of my closest friends lost his life in a 410 sprint car around 5 years ago. The only thing that helps is knowing he died doing something he loved. His wife had us cut the car into pieces. Every tube on the chassis “sprung” out of shape when cutting it up. Unreal how much can happen in seconds.

I will tell you from experience , I was having the best run in years! if I would have died , I was - very - happy doing what I loved ! its always the people who love you that are hurt just as bad or maybe more..

Glad to hear you are recovering from a bad tumble. It's an inescapable part of racing, regardless how much you prepare for it. But, if it was as safe as a video game, we wouldn't do it.
