Finally got my income tax return today 21 weeks after mailing them in. They even found a mistake from the looks of it and I got a little EXTRA.

I just filed mine yesterday, the deadline. I really have been super busy, and they've been done and sitting at accountants, waiting for me to stop by, pay and sign. I finally stopped during work and took care of it. Geez.

I mailed mine and my sons Jan. 31st. He got his in May. I still haven't got mine........ Accountant said to be patient

I have to pay $900 bucks so it went in the mail today.
I am not rich...but I get off my ass everyday to make sure I am not broke!
Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

You were the smart one. It’s stupid but I enjoy getting money back because it’s usually here for tax time and the start of racing season.

They even found a mistake from the looks of it and I got a little EXTRA. that's kind of comforting john. we sent it in on march 10th, and haven't got it back yet. as i understand it, the place that does pa's returns closed around the second week of april, and just opened up recently. i have the phone number to call, but i haven't got around to it yet. glad you got some extra ! i don't think we will be so lucky.

I was very surprised as I filed mine electronically around July 1 and got the check in the mail early this week. m My accountant said most of them were laid off or working at home. On the IRS website they said my refund was knocked down to zero and I would get a letter June 22nd and there was a phone number to call. I was on the phone for 25 minutes and she said they were messed up and I was getting more back. She put me on hold and five minutes later the phone went dead, the call got dropped somehow. I called back thirty minutes later and another girl said they just started doing long paper ones like mine (7-8 pages) and now it would take the normal 4-6 weeks even with direct deposit which I did. Hey I’ll only spend it.
