I have been looking for a pair of Weld Draglites as one of mine has a problem, I posted everywhere looking for a used set 15x10 4.5 back spacing with no luck, i really thought I could locate a pair. I priced a new pair at $357 a piece thru Jegs and Summit as they are both about the same. I googled them and found a pair at $226 a piece on a website called Race car engineering ,it turned out it was a bait and switch when i called the real price was the same as everybody else" oh we made a mistake" they claimed , they did say the Weld had a 33% price increase. I just looked again and the Jegs price is now $431 a piece.. are you kidding me? $74 a wheel increase ? thats ridiculous ! I know a lot of people are getting away from Weld wheels because they are ridiculously expensive and going with other brands. As I probably am. Loosing market share so jack up prices to make up for the lose? I know they had financial problems in the past ,perhaps again? I am liking some of the Hole Shot wheels and might go with them in the future.

A lot of company's are jacking up prices ( my guess is China tariffs) . Just today I had to get a new wheel for a customer that was purchased in '18 for $185 and now its $245.

Good luck on finding your rims at a reasonable price. I was considering replacing the Draglites (that I bought new back in '93) while the car is in the paint shop, but then got to looking at the latest wheel prices....screw that. And the M/T rims that I really wanted are no longer being produced
These Draglites will make it to the 30 year mark before i spend that kind of money

Whats the problem with one of your current wheels??

Maybe try a wheel repair place, is it something that can be repaired?

IF you want Holeshots, get in touch with Mark Shankweiler, MarSHan performance

Yeah the price of wheels is crazy. Had the same set of Centerlines on my cuda since 88. Just couldn't stand them anymore. Sold those and had barely enough to cover the cost of one of my new rims from RC Components.

Ok

Hey, be glad you don't run Flys laugh2

As stated, check with a wheel repair place to see if the problem is repairable.
Or sell off the good DragLites and get some wheels that aren't on maybe 50% of the cars out there.

All the Weld wheels I have bought have been made here..........the last pair was this past October.
But they don't give them away.
Most wheels are made in China , and / or cast.
Those are deal breakers for me.
If you needed a 6 1/2 " back space , I have a couple options for sale.
One set of Drag Lites with tires that are dang near new.
Mickey 265 - 60 X 15 R's.
And these in 10 " X 6 " B.S. on a 4 1/2 " center.......they are bare.
But shipping gets pricey too.
Good luck with your search.
