If you have more than .0010 lifter to lifter bore clearances, most of the ones I've measured are all over .0025 , you don't need EDM oiling for that block or camshaft Use the money you save from that on some other better part

It’s hard for a hydraulic lifter to function properly when there is a .020” hole in the bottom of it, leaking oil out.
Get some Crower Camsaver lifters for an AMC v8. Those will have added oil to the cam and pushrod oiling.

I have Howard's solid EDM lifters in my car and they are AMC type lifters with pushrod oiling. They were a good lifter and I only lost about 10 PSI oil pressure but I think it's a good trade off putting the oil where it needs to go when idling on the street. Gus

See my previous post.
Or better yet....... post a part number for the lifters you’re asking about people’s experiences with.

if the hole in the hydraulic tappet is underneath the tappet oil reservoir (which a hydraulic tappet has to have and maintain) and it's "constantly" leaking how's it supposed to work? wouldn't the tappet collapse everytime the engine is shut off? just asking.
