If you have more than .0010 lifter to lifter bore clearances, most of the ones I've measured are all over .0025 shock, you don't need EDM oiling for that block or camshaft twocents
Use the money you save from that on some other better part up work

I run the Comp solid flat tappet EDM lifters and they have the hole at the top where the pushrod goes if you want to use hollow pushrods for oiling. I do not use it as I just use the stock valvetrain oiling and my solid pushrods plug the lifter hole. Ron

It’s hard for a hydraulic lifter to function properly when there is a .020” hole in the bottom of it, leaking oil out.

Get some Crower Camsaver lifters for an AMC v8.
Those will have added oil to the cam and pushrod oiling.

See my previous post.

Or better yet....... post a part number for the lifters you’re asking about people’s experiences with.

if the hole in the hydraulic tappet is underneath the tappet oil reservoir (which a hydraulic tappet has to have and maintain) and it's "constantly" leaking how's it supposed to work? wouldn't the tappet collapse everytime the engine is shut off? just asking.

I just noticed I did not pay attention to the "Hydraulic" part of the caption. Sorry as mine are solids of course. Ron
