Had a question from a friend last night on the wiring for the idle solenoid on a '70 440 Six Pack Challenger. So I go to my '70 FSM and the only solenoid wiring they show for the Challenger is for the 340 engine. The schematic shows the 340 solenoid fed from the energized terminal on the alternator field. Where does the wiring go for the 440-6 engine solenoid and what color is it? Is it the same as the 340? The 340 wiring (as per the FSM) is dark blue. Thanks in advance.

From the 70 FSM
It looks like their proof reader took the day off.

Snoopy, which FSM are you getting that from? The one I used was the 1970 Challenger/Dart, page 8-89 which does not have that diagram. And thank you for the help! My friend will appreciate it.
