I am working to restore the brakes on my 62 Belvedere. They were originally power but previous owner changed everything around. From what I can tell, early cars used the Bendix dual diaphragm and later cars like mine used the Midland Ross with the cast white metal front. Does anyone have any experience with these ? Looks like they were only used mid 62 until 65. I have one to get rebuilt but I don't want to if it is a problematic style. Also, if anyone has a booster/MC they have removed that are in pretty nice shape I would be interested in purchasing. Please no comments of changing it to newer style or aftermarket brakes - I am very familiar with all of these options but I am looking for a stock restored power drum system
thanks
