I know there is a new type of cam gear you can run on a roller cam (composite or coated iron) does anybody have a favorite? I need the complete drive (Shaft and gear). I was going to use a bronze gear but this engine is going to see a lot of street miles so I though I would ask about options.

I ran the bronze gear on my old pump gas BB Duster for over 3000 miles and a lot of passes at the track with no issues I remember shruggy
I built that motor in the early 2000s also shruggy

Maybe I am just lucky but I have had the same Bronze gear in two different engines with the same roller cam. No major wear or slop in it so far. Been using it since 08 or so. Not many street miles but quite a few passes down the track
