Trying to put a AG switch into my original non AG car.(Was a A/C car) I have the hole location correct but can’t figure out how the switch mounts. Am I missing a spacer? There is a heck of a gap.

Thanks!

The switch itself gets mounted to the metal dash frame. The switch bezel gets mounted to the plastic dash cover.

The problem I have is that the plastic and the metal dash frame won’t fill up that much room. Lol. The switch is up against the bezel in my hand.

As suggested......mount switch to dash frame from back side. Switch bezel mounts to plastic trim from front side. There is an air gap between dash frame and dash plastic trim.

That gap is there. Period. Not much you can do about it. It was pretty crude.

It seems to be a crude fit from the factory. This is the best shot I have.

You hit the nail on the head. The alignment wasn't the greatest either.
