killing time watching YouTube and ran across this 3 part series on NASCAR. i thought they were interesting.
i am not a rabid fan of NASCAR. i did enjoy watching how NASCAR began. the first is from the years 1936-1949. vol 2 is from the years 1950-1959 and vol 3 is from the years 1960-1971. CAUTION each one is about 1 HOUR long.

Great videos, Thanks for posting them. That's when I enjoyed watching the NASCAR of stock body American cars !

your welcome...i enjoyed them. i learned a lot from watching them.
i never knew bill france was actually a driver in the early years. he didn't become a promoter until the he complained to the city of daytona about running the race. they told him if he could do better he should try it, so he did.
also in the early years there was more than 1 woman driver and they actually won or did really good on a regular basis.
