I've lost weight, too. No eating out. Sleeping 'til noon and only eating a small lunch and then dinner.... or sometimes just dinner. So basically doing 16:8 or even OMAD intermittent fasting. (16:8 is 16 hours fasting, and eating everything within 8 an hour stretch, OMAD is one meal a day). There are quite a few health benefits to eating like this, even if one isn't overweight. Plus if one is a bit overweight, it really helps the weight come off. To burn fat, it turns out that it helps if we have longer periods with no food in our gut.
If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

Even if you can't do the cardio, walk every day, change your diet, and you can lose 15. Mike...It is difficult to diet for me. Old school meat and potatoes here! And my wife is a pretty decent cook...

Going to have to get that moonshine still going.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/4L-750W-De...8?hash=item3415b265ce:g:rxgAAOSwT7NdoUI~Ideal small batch moonshine still is to buy one of the above, take apart the coil in the top unit and seal the tiny hole that allows “volatile vapors” to escape when tap water is distilled. But my advice is to stop drinking entirely. This coming from someone who drank more Bourbon from age 18 to 36 than most drink in a lifetime. I didn't drink a drop of alcohol for over 25 years. I've since learned to drink in moderation. One or two drinks or 3 or 4 beers are plenty for me and they are usually spread throughout a day, not at one sitting unless I'm having a cookout or something. I had help with the beer here, I didn't drink it all myself.

Lost 11 pounds since January, but, they just closed the gym a couple of weeks ago. I have zero motivation to work out at home. I've tried it before and it just isn't the same. Better to be out in the yard cutting down trees, landscaping, and choring to stay in shape.

Nothing has changed here. I'm an Olympic lifter (ex-powerlifter) and coach, and have a fully stocked gym in my studio, with better equipment than any gym in town. Seriously, if i'd spent this much on my hotrod i'd actually be driving it. My only lifter and i train every day for hours and its actually nice to not get kicked out at closing time (our gym closes too early, and there is never enough time), not to mention listening to what WE want to hear, not the top-40/classic rock feces gyms play. Only reason i was in gyms in the first place is that i dont like to train alone... Unlike, it seems, EVERY other lifter out there... i actually like to have lots ov other people around. You dont find new lifters hiding out in your basement. The social issues aside, its been great.
I've made a small fortune selling off all my old unused gym equipment these last two weeks. More money than i've made in months. Sellers are just raping people out there... selling complete garbage for pro-equipment prices. Its disgusting. I priced my stuff at reasonable prices and its gone in hours. People are hurting to work out! Wish i could let more people in here to train with us. I've got enough for half a dozen lifters here.

The One Meal A Day (OMAD) diet is too extreme and not recommended for people with health issues other than excess weight. A much better alternative is "Time-Restricted Feeding". Quite a bit of research done down here in Alabama (UAB). With TRF, there are benefits other than weight loss. There is plenty of information about "Time-Restricted Feeding/Eating" on the on the web. Back in January of 2018, all of the major networks carried a story about it on their national news. https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-new...eating-instead-of-calories-1139312195873David

I'm down 70lbs since last year. I'm pretty lazy so all I've done is lift weights 45 mins x 3 times per week plus managed my daily total intake of calories, carbs, protein. Used a calorie counter app for a few months until I got in the habit of staying within my parameters until it became habit. I've had to start eating a bit more than I'd like because at 155lbs/6' tall I don't want to get any thinner. Turns out building muscle to replace all that lost fat takes a lot longer!

Well I found that my initial gain was only that because after a few more weeks I'm heading back down under my regular weight. I think it must be not eating fast food and the Chinese buffet a few times a week. I also have not been drinking beer with my coworkers after a long day. I'm mostly on a protein diet playing with my smoker a few times a week since I have time on my hands. Gus

I've been playing with my smoker too, but she gets a little crabby if it's more than twice a day.
