Can I just swap the 2012 transmission and ECU into my 2011 to take advantage of the programming and gearing changes to make the trans into a real 6 speed? I have a trans and if I buy a computer I can program the VIN, I just don't want to buy a confuser if it won't work for some other reason. My truck is a 5.7 truck I put an SRT 392 into and will need to get the computer tuned but wanted to do any swapping and such before the tuning.
