For 1970 the Top switch is mounted to underside of upper dash. To the left of the radio. See photo.

Aren't 68 on dash down the the speedo ? ( at a side of the wiper switch )... just like those with rear deffog ( not optional on converts )
then 69/70 on the location shown at a side of the A/C- Heater controls

The cars I looked at there was nothing in that area for the 68's! the other photo is great! Thanks! Ive never seen that configuration or that switch!

68 without rear deffog or convertible option got a blank filler there
here with rear deffog... note the filler area for the switch...
converts got the bezel with the TOP lettering
None of them... black filler

BTW, the switch location difference for top and Rear deffog switch are the same as far I know for standard and rallye clusters between 68 and 69/70. Just that standard cluster are of coruse meeting with the standard cluster bezel setup
