Fun little cars.
Not much in the way of aftermarket support for stock pieces, there is some for hi-po parts.
Like most Japanese cars, they like to rust, and like most modern cars, rust work isn't much fun. But if it's rust free, it'll be around for a long time with some care, so it's probably a good candidate for re-do.
I don't think the value is there for any sort of investment, though, if that means anything... it doesn't to me.

Interesting little cars. They were two seat sports car I think based off a civic platform. I think that production was pretty small. Parts are probably available. Labor on rust repair, mechanical are probably similar to any other car. I would look for a Japanese feature shop. With the import craze and the fact they imports are the only real cars available, I would think there will a few shops to choose from.

I still have an '90 CRX Si I bought new. The Del Sol replaced the CRX.
They don't have the following the CRX does but are still pretty nice. The Honda mechanicals are bulletproof
so unless thrashed, addressing any rust issues will probably be the main issue. There are still a surprisingly
amount of parts available thru Honda.

You got that right. I will take a well taken care of Honda with 200K on the clock over anything new that GM sends out the door today. That is a fact.

I would think there's strong support for Hondas as far as forums & parts.
I had an Acura Integra for a DD back in the late '90s, when I was doing a LOT of driving for business.
Most parts were inexpensive, except electrical stuff like ECUs - that kind of stuff was expensive.

Very easy to work on. My son with no automotive knowledge bought one without a head on it. Found the parts, reassembled it, cleaned up the hacked wiring and got it running. Then sold it and made a big chunk of cash off it.

Non-Mopar American muscle - fine. Non-US made FWD hooptie. Nope.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.
