Has anyone found a match for the textured dark argent ('68-'69 Road Runner grilles & etc)
Aarrgghh; thought I had a couple cans of the Krylon 2521 left, but nope. That was a very close match for the factory finish. Apparently discontinued, not available on Ebay, Amazon, or the stores that show up on Google. A couple restoration-paint sites claim to have the right stuff, but at $24.95 for a can, I'm not inclined to gamble. If I need to buy a quart, so be it, as long as it's right.

Found another source in addition to Alltrim, gonna buy both, and then I can do the 2 '68 grilles and a '69 I have. Also hit every store in my area found some metallic & some texture, and may have another method figured out as well. I'll be able to paint several things soon ! Think I also figured out how to do the lighter argent that's kinda metalflake. Maybe I can be the West Coast argent-painter...

It's odd how things work: A week or so back, I posted about ID stripes on Mopar driveshafts...crickets, except for 2 guys who also found & restored them. I did find it funny that by 2 of us are doing '68 RR grilles at the same time (like all the cool kids are doing that now !) I'm hip to the cost of paint materials; I'd love to get them for what I was paying decades ago, not gonna happen. As far as being "in for dark argent", I'm not sure what that means: buying material or having something painted ? Please explain.

What is shelf life of paint? I am planning on fall/winter of 2020 to start restoring components for the car. If it'll last, I'm in for each.
