Hey all,

Buddy of mine picked up a really decent 40s Dodge truck the other day, cab and original rolling chassis, and then we picked up a couple of extra cabs, front ends, and a frame that had a GM subframe grafted in.

Anyway we found the VIN on the truck and was wondering if it could be decoded, as in the year and everything. Here are the numbers we got:

Serial (VIN?) 81149927
Model - WC

I forget what the HP numbers and all were, but they were there along with the GVWR. There was a smaller tag screwed on below the VIN tag that had a number on it. Any idea what that one is? Its number:

4112-192580

Any help appreciated. I may end up with one of the cabs back for my own project!

There was a thread posted here in the last couple of months that had a link to a website to help decode vins and tags for older mopars. I thought I bookmarked it but cant find it right now. I am sure someone will chime in soon with the information.
