63, with COPD and pneumonia 5 times with 2 of those being double. I can't take any more scar tissue in my lungs. I had a shoulder x ray about 20 years ago, you should have seen the look on the technicians face when he looked at them. Uh, I'm not really supposed to say anything but...I told him not to worry, it's not cancer just scar tissue. I had pneumonia again since then at about 48, but that was the last time I had it.

https://medium.com/@tomaspueyo/coronavirus-act-today-or-people-will-die-f4d3d9cd99ca If you stack up the orange bars until 1/22, you get 444 cases. Now add up all the grey bars. They add up to ~12,000 cases. So when Wuhan thought it had 444 cases, it had 27 times more. If France thinks it has 1,400 cases, it might well have tens of thousands
The same math applies to Paris. With ~30 cases inside the city, the true number of cases is likely to be in the hundreds, maybe thousands. With 300 cases in the Ile-de-France region, the total cases in the region might already exceed tens of thousands
Spain has very similar numbers as France (1,200 cases vs. 1,400, and both have 30 deaths). That means the same rules are valid: Spain has probably upwards of 20k true cases already.
In the Comunidad de Madrid region, with 600 official cases and 17 deaths, the true number of cases is likely between 10,000 and 60,000.
If you read these data and tell yourself: “Impossible, this can’t be true”, just think this: With this number of cases, Wuhan was already in lockdown.
If you ever find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

There are so many opinions on here running from "This is a Hoax and you should not do anything different" to "Crawl in a hole and cover your BUTT over, ya' gonna die".
I am in the same camp as GJ. I am 64 yo and in fair health with a few exceptions. I have had respiration issues my whole life. In 2015 in my major motorcycle crash I crushed my chest and damaged my left lung so I am at 70% on my left side. This Virus will hit me hard. I also have three broken ribs that will not knit together so a choughing spree could puncture my left lung again. My heart was bruised and damaged too so I have angina pain. So being 100% retired and not going into peoples homes I am self quarantining in place and not shopping much. I had to go to my bank yesterday and I did the 'Social Distancing' and a lady kept telling me to move up in the line. I explained 'Social Distancing' twice to her and the third time I just told he to b u g g e r off.

Well the GM said he can't come back to work until he has been tested but then one of the higher ups said they can't stop him from coming to work if he isn't showing symptoms. So out of an abundance of caution I'm out, not taking a chance until this thing is on the down swing.

I've been electrocuted, had dysentery, bicycle wreck, and car wreck all before 21, then there is the fractured skull, leukemia and sct, zoster caused shingles attack and relatively healthy wife recovering from knee replacement last month, heck yes we're laying low even though we don't drink or smoke and feel relatively healthy. Now, our adult kids and step kids with their smoking drinking and pot pipes and e cig use, heck yes we worry. They are invincible and are carrying on traveling, meeting friends, eating out, bars, and organized pub crawl events. They will be surprised when they call or show up at our gate and we let them know we can visit later. We'll continue to do our best to preserve our days and let others throw caution to the wind. I know this does not help the op much, yet we all walk our walk. We have silmilar, yet different plights, a large family with us seniors all sharing the distancing policy, with kids and grand kids not. Talk about social divide, how about familiar divide? We have a daughter buying a home to close the end of month. Have not decided yet how we'll be able to help other than drive my truck with trailer, let them load trailer, take it to house, disconnect and retrieve trailer later. We'll may likely suffer burning ears for years.

More disinformation. Please get your facts straight people! They went home on Friday as the negotiations were taking place, which didn't get done and passed until after 1 AM. Who knew how long that was going to take? I am so sick of this BS. Please keep your political BS to yourself and don't f'up my thread.

Gotta be careful right now. We have a confirmed case in our county. I work with this guy. He is 66 and was scheduled to retire at the end of this month. The word is that he will not make it through the weekend.

And how did he get it? You should probably self quarantine.

And how did he get it? You should probably self quarantine. It has not been reported yet how he acquired it. I have not had direct contact with him but there are four men who have and they have been ordered into quarantine. I am also hearing by third party that this fellow has passed. I think at this point the state would be within their authority to shut the place down if they feel the company has not been proactive enough. We’ll have to see what happens tomorrow. We are a major supplier to Toyota.
