Combo is 440-512 stroker, comp xe290 solid cam, 1.6 roller rockers, weiand single plane, holley 980 cfm ,headers and dual system. 4 sped car.

any starting point would be good

Thanks

Nick

When I got mine..440 source sent me a set of Champion RC12YC. But I too would like to know what other brands cross reference..like maybe Accel, NGK, or Autolite?

I'm running NGK FR5's. It's an extended tip, resistor plug in a fairly hot heat range. So far they are looking good (light tan color) being street driven with lots of idling and low speed cruising.

For street just use the same plugs that later model Mopar engines came with. It is just a basic 3/4 reach plug. Used in a billion applications including almost all aftermarket cylinder heads.

Just an FYI for everybody...

I put a set of NGKs (my preferred brand) in my stealths last week; the hex on the plug is partially obscured by the material of the cylinder head when the plug is seated. This makes it really easy for the socket to slip off when tightening 'em.

I hadn't noticed this initially, since I was staring straight at the ends of the plugs, reaching thru the fender.

Seduce the attractive, and charm the rest. ****** 489 C.I.D., roller cam, aftermarket heads, tunnel ram, stock '54 Dodge rear axle assembly: which of these doesn't belong?

IF you know your compression ratio then call NGK tech line--live person nails the plug you will need--simple--easy as pie and they KNOW what to use--
