Looking for opinions on the roller cam that came in this 505" shortblock that I got with car. Pump gas motor with cnc stealth heads- cam is an older hughes grind: 236/242 duration .560/.570 lift 110 lsa installed at 107. Going in a street trim satellite, 3.91gears auto with 3000ish converter. I'm trying to decide whether to throw a solid in it or buy a set of roller lifters and run it. I am guessing it would run pretty good in a street car. RPM intake with nice 950ish carb

It ought to drive real nice on the street and be a torque monster, but it's a lot smaller than what I'd have wanted for a 500" motor. I'd pick something like that for a stock stroke street motor.

I run a Howards hydraulic roller that is very similar in lift and duration. It makes for a great street car and is pretty quick to boot!
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

I would run that cam and focus left over funds on optimizing traction. Since a street car seldom sees lots of rpm, torque becomes a great thing to have an excess of.

That should be a really nice street cam. The hyd roller that I have in my Coronet is roughly the same size but on 112 lobe centers for even less overlap. For your application I'd say that cam is a pretty good choice. This is great news. Andy, did you use the Comp lifters with the Coronet motor? If not, what do you suggest for this application? I called Hughes and they suggested using the Howards they sell. Thanks to all for the advice.
