Sold my Mirada for $7500 as a “turn key roller”. Was carefully explained that yes it runs, and yes the engine needs freshened, like new short block freshened. The guy still raced it for two years before he sold it. Not bad for a package that ran into the 9s close to sea level.
Still running .. I don't think they messed with motor yet
Broke a valve spring last year.... last I’ve heard of it. They actually bought the car to put the drivetrain into a B body from what I recollect. They raced it a few times, it worked, so they stayed with it. Probably a tree belt ornament now...
