That number is supposed to be for the 7290 u-joint, I'd go have a look see.

John....I ordered that yoke for my car when doing another 7290 driveshaft. It was wrong, like the post says. I work at the dealer, so I put thru a wrong for part number claim and no way would Mopar pay for it. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/maad.gif) So.....had to find a conversion joint...just can't remember off hand what the number was. But that does suck.....the yoke's not cheap, and it definitely is NOT for a 7290!!! Other's beware. Another MP screw up. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif)

Jim, I've looked into that issue before. As a result, it's NS1.... As best I can tell, somebody in the past assumed it would work for the application it was listed for....which for all I know may have been OK when the part was first set up....but after it superseded a time or two, that pretty much killed it. the ones I've seen in the last couple years appear to be some sort of superseded late model pickup truck piece for Lord knows what. It's definitely not good for the application listed in the catalog. MRA it, send it to scrap and start over with something else. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Twocents.gif)
