Oh man, I used to frequent Bob's shop often. Super helpful and knew all the "old school" tricks. My first visit to Bob's shop he recommended Andy F's book as a great reference on how to build a "stout" big block. Always available to help out however he could. Hope he gets well.

I got to know Bob in the early 1970 when him and his wife Fran had moved to SO CA from Montana, he was racing a 1970 Cuda in Pro Stock that he had named old smoky do to its exhaust colors on start up. Him and Fran were both high school teachers in Fontana, CA until around ten years later Bob got sick of teaching and opened his business selling anything related to cars that he could make money. We both raced in NHRA stock for many years until he witch to SS. He had ran a altered in Comp Eliminator for several years before switching to stock in his 1964 Max Wedge Plymouth back in the early 1980s or late 1970s. His Son is almost the same age as my oldest grandson, my how time has flown by
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Please keep us posted. Bob is a great man and prayers being sent from Arizona. Talked to Ken Etter last night Bob is in a medically induced coma while he heals. By the way Ken is keeping Bob's doors open while Bob recovers
