Good luck but its kinda like building a motor around a sub standard camshaft. Flip it and get the proper one.

I have had DISASTEROUS results with Ford 9"s, no thanks!!! Everybody has their own version of "substandard" camshafts. the successful guys use what works for THEM...!

Your 9" issues likely were due to using too many factory ford parts. Everything but the housing needs to be bought aftermarket...and the housing needs a backbrace. Once you buy a GOOD centersection, you shouldn't have any problems. 9" are strong when built right, they just aint cheap.

Couldn't agree more, but I learned the "Ford" needs to be taken out of the "Ford 9"" after I sold the car. I have a brandX car with a big buck aftermarket 9', no problems at all.

If nothing else its is sure good looking!
Sounds like if it does not work for you, there won't be much money lost.
Good luck and keep us posted. I got the case brand new through a dealership, $835 US. Hope it lasts the life of the car, I'll give it a chance for sure. I'll Dana the car no problem if need be, but I think I can get it to live. If I'm lucky..... lol
