HemiStan OP top fuel Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 1,672 Virginia	Good afternoon! I have a set of 1971 Six Pack carburetors but I have a question regarding the numbers on the outboard carbs. The font looks correct but it looks like they started out as something different and were re-stamped?? Was this something fairly common on ‘71 carbs? I have attached photos of each carb. Thanks! 62maxwgn master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9,436 Blair County,PA	From what I was told,they were left over from excess ,rather than increase production they were re stamped and used as needed. I've had a lot and the majority were 71 model year,easier to modify what you have rather than increase production.
