Hey, 99 Ram Quad Cab. Both driver's side speakers quit working at the same time. I have verified that the head unit is working. Do the speakers share a common ground? Is there a common failure point?

It looks like the best place to start looking is where the wires go from the cab to the door.

Thanks for any help.

My 1995 Ram Passenger side Infinity Door Speaker with its soldered on amp quit working and I have not taken the door panel off yet.

Since the OE head units are now high power (>10W) there is NO common ground, each amplifier channel/speaker has its own + & -.....

Just my $0.02... wink

Thanks for the input-
Turns out the rear speaker wire had broken where it goes out to the rear door and the front speaker's wire connector had popped off (aftermarket speaker). Must have been a coincidence that they both went out.
