Is there any difference between a 70 automatic transmission for a Challenger small block then the later years 71-74 or are they all the same ? I was told the 70 had a shorter tail shaft.
Thanks.

All passenger car automatic transmissions have the same length tail. '71 and later are different internally but that doesn't affect the physical interchange.
