So i found a 2012 ram 5.7 hemi motor pretty cheap that was pulled with 109k from a running truck for 400 bucks. I have a 2013 ram and would like to keep this motor as a spare or for a build to swap in the truck later. I am getting conflicting info as to weather or not it will work in my 2013 as is. Hhp is 20 minutes away from my house and they tell me it wont work. The reluctor wheels are different. Modern muscle says it will bolt right in and be fine because even though the reluctors are different they are still 58 tooth. A dodge tech also told me it is a direct swap. Anyone know for sure whether or not this motor is a direct bolt in swap for my 2013?

I did a 10 into a 13 and it was just fine.

I don't think you can, I think it needs to stay with the thinner one...Honestly Not sure, I'd ask Dave Weber@ MMX when you buy the parts.
