Is there a lot of traffic and or steep hills where you live? Those clutches don't like a lot of stop and go driving. What issues? My centerforce has never slipped or chattered. Doug

I ran a dual friction centerforce in my old 91 mustang. It ran low 12s and that clutch was great, smooth, strong, and easy to drive.

I live in East Tn in the foot hills of the mountains and get behind 5, or more cars on a steep hill with a stop sign. It will get hot and start to squeal some and smoke.. Even does it in a parade Are you holding the car on the hill with the clutch? Doug

I used one for the first time this year and it's a very nice street clutch. It is vary smooth and predictable on the street but I haven't raced with it yet and it hooks so well I'm not sure I want to let the clutch pedal fly with sticky slicks on it because it might just be firm enough to break an 18 spline box. Gus they do hook hard.No slicks but with my wide street tires they still grab great. My 65 lights thme up even at a roll out.Im like you Id be kinda leary to drop the hammer with slicks.Mines like 20 years old and still going strong.Rocky
