1971 A body 340 Duster is 081 081. Thank you very much for the feedback! I recently picked up a pair of 081 leaf springs. Trying to confirm years of usage for that spring. I also have a pair of 064 leaf springs from my 69 Dart, which aligns with another member’s feedback. Was the 081 leaf spring also used in 1970 on A-Bodies? A couple of key differences between on my 064 and 081 springs are the number of leaf springs and the size of the front eye bushings. The 064 has 5-leafs and a 2” bushing and the 081 has 6-leaf springs and 1.5” bushing? Can anyone else confirm these features on theirs?

If you still want factory part numbers for B and E bodies:
E-body 1970-71 Hemi, 440, 440-6, HD, 034/024.
E-body AAR TA, 048/048.
B-body 1967-71 Hemi, 440, 440-6, HD, 965/795, same as 964/794, 963/793.
These numbers do not appear in parts books.

There's info but scattered. Bill Rolick started a thread to compile but don't know if he followed up since his original post. The challenge is it seems that the stamped number has no relation to the part number. It does relate to the number on the broad cast sheet. See here: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthread...identification-for-what-application.htmlSome springs also have date and other codes. Is the stamped number a production part number, and that's why it doesn't show in the parts books? Or is the stamped number jdifferent because it had a different purpose and is not the part number used for ordering?

Was there a 293 / 293 spring set?
Trying to help a guy. Both springs are stamped
3722293. 36369. 020 4
On '68 H code Dart Current owner says the car was drag raced so a good chance these are replacements but if so, from what?
