Here's a new one I haven't had before and hoping all of you have an idea to help.

I just got into the shop a 1970 Super Bee N96 car with the D21 transmission. The car has been in his family for years and the owner wants to rip out the 4 speed and replace it with a 727. Now before you all freak out, this gentleman is disabled military and cant push a clutch in. So he wants to leave the 4 speed tunnel alone and find a shifter that I can modify and weld a repop pistol grip shifter to so it looks somewhat stock but is actually an automatic shifter.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Mike

65 or 66 Barracuda floor shifter, A100 van/pickup & '60s Dodge trucks dash shifter come to mind.
Also the old Hurst "his & hers" type shifters.
Maybe even some street-rod kinda deal (Lokar, etc).
An adapter plate screwed to the boot holes, maybe a boot depending on what you want to do...
