Have a 2009 Challenger with 6.1L . When cold does not want to idle for about 30 secs unless you help with gas pedal. After that idles, runs fine. Hot starts are fine.
I am thinking maybe IAT sensor, or maybe the coolant temp sensor? Anyone else have any ideas?

Hook up scanner and check for codes.
Then check for marginal fuel pressure

I get the code 050B looks like 0508 but is actually a B at the end. Only throws code when cold at idle... can’t find much on the code...

Looks like P0508 is same as P050B, appears to be IAC related, or a vacuum leak. Could also be IAC valve but car doesn’t seem to have one like older Dodge models did...

check the gas cap I know sounds weird but that could be your vacuum leak

Thank you

Clean the throttlebody first.
