I’m pretty sure Frank Badalson has them. Not sure who that is (at least I think I don’t know), do you have a link to him by chance? Thanks in advance.

The main source is amkproducts.com. AFAIK everybody else re-selling AMK by buying in volume with volume discounts, maybe, and re-selling with some markup. Might be best to check the main source's price first, keeping in mind they do have a $30 minimum order. https://www.amkproducts.com/bulk-fasteners-listing/?codeforlookup=7060and scroll to bottom. These parts are correct to the original Chry part numbers. $28/pair + $10 ship = $40 due to min order. This is without the nuts, which are also available elsewhere on the web site. For nuts, go to https://www.amkproducts.com/ > catalogs > hex nuts.

Went to pull the rearend out of my 72' Charger and they were soo rusty, even power tools could not remove the bolts, so they had to be cut off the rearend. Anybody still carry correct U bolts and nuts for that model? Also what color/paint or are they left bare? It's for an 8 3/4 with swaybar. It's a little late now, but about the only way to get the nuts off the U bolts is with heat. And a lot of it. Wire brush or chase the exposed threads as much as possible, cherry up the nuts and they will come off. Frankly, without an oxy/acetylene torch set, I couldn't work on my old Mopars.

Yes, we used two portable torches til orange and they would.not budge. Air gun was industrial and could only remove 5 of the nuts.

they may be NOS but the nuts are definitely not assembly line correct. the correct nuts have indentations on them and they don't have washers made with the nuts.. here is a pic of the ones i remove in the early 80's from a car. they have been in storage since removal. look closely and you can see the indentations on the nuts.

you could be right on the silver vs black. if i remember correctly my U bolts are from my first rebuild project. i bought 3 totaled cuda's in 1975 for the enormous sum of $250. i then used parts from 1 car to fix the other 2. after they were repaired i think i sold them for $1500 each. the U bolts were in a box of parts i found in storage. things might have been mixed up over the years, maybe someone worked on the car before i bought it. all i know is the cross hatch pattern on the inside of 1 U bolt is different than the other 3. when i found them all of the U bolts and nuts were in 1 plastic bag just as i removed them in 1975.
